My love and fascination for Cartier watches started in 2022, the year that I bought my first luxury watch. I knew that I loved the design of the Tank but knew nothing of the Cartier brand. For months, I looked through what must have been hundreds of listings for Tanks and other models across all kinds of platforms and web pages. I began to learn the fine details of real, authentic Cartier watches as well as the principles of buying and selling secondhand. I scoured the most obscure forum posts for details on rarer models and got a true sense of the amount of experience and knowledge it can take to “know what you are doing.”

Fast forward to 2026 - I’ve caught and released several different kinds of Cartier watches as well as the occasional non-Cartier watch. My knowledge of the brand has deepened, though there is so much more to learn and to experience by holding and inspecting each new watch. I’m excited to share this journey of exploring Cartier’s past, and to help others find the vintage watch that they are looking for and providing peace of mind that what they are purchasing is authentic.
